If your child is in the in-person hybrid program, your child need to be Covid-19 tested every week. Go to dailypass.lausd.net or call 213-443-1300 to schedule an appointment. Romer Middle School is currently accepting walk-in for Covid-19 test.

Important schedule changes/Cambios importantes de horario:

4/19/21 - 30 minute synchronous online learning followed by asynchronous learning the rest of the day.

4/20/21 - ETK, TK, Kinder, 1st start Hybrid Learning Schedule.

Tuesday Student Schedule 8/18/2020

9am-12pm Students and families watch orientation videos on the following topics/Orientación Estudiantes y Familias

Organizing for Success: Managing Your Learning Needs - How to learn from home, strategies to stay engaged, setting up your learning space, creating a schedule/Cómo aprender desde el hogar, estrategias para mantenerse comprometido, establecer su espacio para el aprendizaje y crear un horario.
Online Tools and Help Videos: What online learning tools are available and who to go for help/Qué herramientas en línea se encuentran disponibles y dónde acudir para obtener ayuda.

Online Safety, Digital Citizenship: How to protect yourself online, how to participate online, and how to be a contributing online citizen/Cómo protegerse en línea, participar en línea y cómo ser un ciudadano en línea que contribuye.
Managing Your Own Health and Well-Being: How to manage your own happiness and learning, create a routine that works for you, stay socially engaged, practice mindfulness, and stay physically fit/Cómo manejar su propia felicidad y aprendizaje, cómo crear una rutina que funcione para usted, mantenerse comprometido socialmente, practicar una plena atención y mantenerse en buena forma física.

1pm Parents and students meet with teachers for meet and greet/Conocerse y Saludarse con los maestros. Teachers will contact parents for Zoom meeting information/Los maestros se comunicarán con los padres para obtener información sobre las reuniones de Zoom.

We will distribute learning materials to parents/students. Parents need to show identification, wear a face mask, and practice social distancing. The distribution schedule is as follows:
